A reply to the 'perfect' part because i do not disagree with it.
From an anime (translated) said by a character so actually from the writer/creator (kubo taito aka noriaki kubo:
"There is no such thing as perfect in this world. That may sound cliché, but it's the truth. The average person admires perfection and seeks to obtain it. But what's the point of achieving perfection? There is none. Nothing. Not a single thing. I spit on perfection! If something is perfect, then there is nothing left. There is no room for imagination. No place left for that person to gain additional knowledge or abilities."
My apologies in advance, but there cannot be just 'one' for me. Here are a few that guide my activities and interests daily.
Albert Einstein stated the following: "Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand."
and Lao Tzu is reported to have been the inspiration for the following: "Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day. Teach a person to fish and you feed them for a lifetime."
and finally, Thich Nhat Hahn's simplest reminder for me of what is most important each day is: "Peace is every step."
I have 2. They are: "Do what you love and the money will follow." and "Patience and persistence wins the race."--The 2nd quote is my own personal creation. The 1st quote I remember reading and its something my brother and I practice daily.
